Costa Rica Ideal Org Gets Its Cross

The Costa Rica Ideal Org has no building, little money, and few members. But they just got a cross, and that is the key first step. Each Ideal Org has a unique Scientology cross that represents unique aspects of their city or country. It is to be used on the web site, in promotional materials, and a physical cross is constructed to hang in the lobby. It is a rallying point to encourage donations. It represents Int. management’s OK that you are authorized to raise funds, look for a building, train staff, and start the process towards your own Ideal Org.

To mark the occasion, Costa Rica has two new Ideal Org status upgrades. Maria Elena Ulate is now a Colaborador, and Gustavo Carballo is now an Alumni.

500 Volunteers Needed For Milan Ideal Org

This is the non-Ideal Milan, Italy org at 5 Via Iepontina in the La Fontana section of the city. The building meets the 50,000 sq. ft. minimum, and the plan is to renovate the building to become an Ideal Org rather than purchase a new one, but there’s a problem.

Archives For the Ideal Org of Milan
The date for the opening of Milan Ideal Org has been established. We need the help of at least 500 volunteers to complete the archives. We need your help.

That’s a lot of volunteers.

Happy House Fundraiser – Nancy Cartwright

We have a question about Happy House, a charity formed and operated by Simpsons star Nancy Cartwright. Is there an actual Happy House, or not? The web site is deliberately vague, as are the IRS form 990s that we have reviewed.

This is the address on the IRS forms: 750 Fairmount Ave., Suite 100, Glendale, CA. The forms also state the Happy House runs “Good Choices Program helps children with after school programs. The course is designed to help children make better choices and positively influence their environment.” The address is actually the address of Wiseman & Burke, a financial management services company. Bruce Wiseman and Kevin Burke are well known and influential Scientologists. So there are no after school programs being conduced at this location.

This is the address on the Happy House web site, 9420 Reseda Boulevard, #572, Northridge, CA. It’s a “Pak & Ship All” UPS store. Again, no after school program. So where is Happy House? If anybody knows, drop us a line at SecCheck8@gmail.com.

What we do know is that it’s a Scientology group.

We use the 21 common sense values found the The Way to Happiness as a base. … The values and suggestions found in The Way to Happiness will be familiar to most of you, like old friends. As you read them, you will almost certainly think of someone who would be better off if they applied these values in their lives.

So on May 30th, somewhere in Northridge, CA, there will be a poker tournament fundraiser for Happy House, which may or may not exist as a physical house. Funds will be used to distribute The Way To Happiness, and maybe fund an after school program. The event will feature as prizes a helicopter ride with the Los Angeles Police Department Air Unit, a ride in the Goodyear Blimp, a basketball signed by Shaquille O’Neil, a basketball signed by the LA Clippers, and a chance to sit at a table reading for The Simpsons. We think it’s very odd to have a site that allows donations to be made by Paypal without any indication as to where the event will be held.

CBTIS 116 School Welcomes Scientology – Featuring Clark Carr

Where in the world is Clark Carr? That’s the question Scientology watchers have been asking since Scientology shut down the Narconon International headquarters in Los Angeles. As reported in The Underground Bunker on February 9th, writer and journalist Mark Ebner received a tip that the Narconon building at 4652 Hollywood Boulevard was being emptied, leaving some souvenirs and documents behind. But the question about where the staff has gone was unanswered until today.

The CBIT 116 School (Centro de Bachillerato Tecnológico Industrial y de Servicio) at Alejandro Humboldt Sn, Nueva Tijuana, 22435 Tijuana, B.C., Mexico received a visit yesterday from Narconon Tijuana staff member Angelyna Medina and Narconon International President Clark Carr, to present Scientology’s theories on drug use, abuse and addiction. Is Carr on staff at Narconon Tijuana? If you know, please drop us a line at seccheck8@gmail.com
