About 700 marchers demonstrated against political corruption and violence yesterday in Querétaro, Mexico. The event was organized by Scientology front group Youth for Human Rights. The march ended at Plaza de Armas, the state capital building. The group placed white flowers at the site of an attack last week by supporters of PRI (Institutional Revolutionary Party) against supporters of PAN (National Action Party).
Youth for Human Rights leader Laura Benitez Licona (below) said “The aim of the march is to bring together citizens who are tired and want to tell the politicians and candidates who are aspiring any position, that address society without violence and make proposals.”
