The Kansas City Org held a 20s-themed fundraiser for their Ideal Org last night. They have purchased a large building in poor repair, and are unlikely to raise enough to renovate it soon. Members signed the traditional donations board, which usually shows the goal for the evening.

“There’s nothing more fun than dressing up in costume and handing over my wallet to the cherch. People yell, clap, and take pictures. For a few minutes, I feel on top of the world. Then the next day, I realize my wallet is empty and my credit card was hit with a $10k charge I’ll spend the next two years paying off.”
